About

Stardust are a piano and vocal duo specialising in sophisticated entertainment for weddings and events. Emily and Joe are highly experienced musicians who have worked extensively in the music industry for 15 years. Joe has held residencies at The Savoy, The Dorchester, The Langham, Ronnie Scotts & The Ritz to name a few.  Emily has worked internationally as a lead vocalist in theatre and on a World Voyage onboard Cunard's MV Queen Elizabeth. Emily also enjoyed a varied career including television, radio, recording and stage.

Together, Stardust exude professionalism. They are friendly, talented, reliable and want to make music the highlight of your event.  For an extra special touch, Starlight Sounds can extend to a trio featuring the incredible Lidia; one of the UK's finest cellists.

We booked Stardust last year but we had to postpone our wedding due to covid. Thankfully Emily and Joe were very helpful and were still able to play for our big day. Thank you for making our wedding breakfast extra special. It was so nice to see everyone singing along throughout the meal.

    FAQs

    Will You Be Playing Grand Piano or Keyboard?
    If your venue has a grand piano or upright piano, we would love to use that (it needs to have been tuned), but if not, we will provide a keyboard. Or you can hire a Grand Piano Shell (see below).

    Can We Hire a Grand Piano?
    Believe it or not, yes you can! We use a fantastic company where we can hire in a Grand Piano shell. It means that even if your venue doesnt have a grand piano, we can hire a shell, adding that finising touch!

    How Long Do You Perform For?
    We perform for 2 x 45 minute sets as standard, but of course will always adapt to what works for your event.

    Do You Learn Special Requests?
    Yes of course. We learn one special request as standard and can learn more if requested.
