"What a fabulous act, very entertaining" - Dame June Whitfield
The Tap Dancer
The Tap Dancer is a professional vintage broadway style tap dance entertainer graduating from Italia Conti School of Perfroming Arts. She has worked in the entertainment industry for over two decades performing at many theatres and venues around the UK alongside stars such as June Whitfield and Bradley Walsh. Also sharing the stage alongside top West End stars including Cassidy Janson and Steph Parry. With her unique solo tap dance act she dazzles and delights audiences up and down the country. Notably she has performed in front of audiences at The London Palladium, The Royal Variety Brinsworth House, Royal Hippodrome Theatre and Tobacco Docks as well as large outdoor events such as Bexhill Roaring 20's, Sixties Revolution and Hastings Pirate Day. Not to mention recently spending a season entertaining the crowds at Covent Garden.
The Tap Dancer is a vibrant entertainer whose routines are heavily influenced by legends such as Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Classically trained in ballet, tap, modern and jazz from age 3, her performances draw upon a host of artistic dance styles and are suitable for a wide range of venues from intimate cabaret clubs to large music halls.
The Tap Dancer draws inspiration from iconic vintage movies and musicals to create much loved characters for everyone to enjoy. From weddings and corporate events to anniversaries and birthday parties, whatever your event, large or small... The Tap Dancer has something special for you.

5/5 at Tobacco Dock, London.
I have had the privilege of watching The Tap Dancer perform twice now, once at the Eastbourne Underground Theatre and once at the International Hot Air Balloon Festival. She delights her audiences with wonderful eye catching, technical, vigorous tap dancing routines that are full to the brim with energy and personality. Together with quick changes of pace combined with clever comic mime, in my view she recreates the magic of Gene Kelly with a modern twist. Katie is the most exciting tap dancer to have come on the scene for a long time. She can captivate an audience on her own with just her tap board for company and I just love watching her perform.
