My husband and I never left the dance floor and I just loved looking around the room seeing everybody smiling, singing and dancing- it was perfect.
What was your best single moment of the whole day?
We really enjoyed our first dance as literally everyone made their way to the dancefloor and it was so lovely to be surrounded by friends and family who were there just for us!
Why did you pick your venue?
Stanley House was the very first venue that we visited and we absolutely loved it but as we didn’t really know much about wedding venues we felt that we had to visit lots more before we decided. A few months down the line and after visiting what felt like thousands- we found ourselves comparing every other place to Stanley House. The mixture of modern and traditional was perfect and the stables room fitted our vintage theme perfectly. It also helped that the staff were lovely.
How did you hear about The Kickstarts?
We always knew that we wanted a pop/ indie type of band for our big day and so we searched ‘wedding bands’ on Google and found the Warble Entertainment site the best as there was so much choice. I emailed them to tell them what I was looking for and they instantly replied with several options. The Kickstarts for us ticked every box and their playlist was really fun.
What did they bring to your day?
I was a little worried at first how well a band would go down with so many different people who attended the wedding. That feeling stopped as soon as they started playing- The Kickstarts really helped make our day amazing and they literally had everyone up on the floor dancing. My husband and I never left the dance floor and I just loved looking around the room seeing everybody smiling, singing and dancing- it was perfect. Everybody commented on the band and all said how fantastic they were.
Did you have a first dance song and what was it?
Yes we choose Hey Ho by The Lumineers, we wanted something fun and not too soppy!
What did you think of the service provided by Warble?
I cannot fault the service by Warble- they were really helpful throughout the whole process- from recommending bands that we might like and to booking them, they made the process so easy.
Best piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Take your time with it and just go with your gut feeling and try not to think about everyone else too much- it’s all about you two. Also try not to focus too much on the wedding planning- try and limit your planning to one or two nights a week otherwise it can get a little too much!
Looking back is there anything you would change?
We wouldn’t change anything about our wedding day- it was just amazing.
