Lisa and Craig booked David The Caricaturist for their wedding at The Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port and have kindly shared details of their special day with us!
‘I wanted something a little different than the average entertainment’
What was your best single moment of the whole day?
Seeing my soul mate at the bottom of the aisle!
Did you have an overall theme?
A lot of sparkle, sequins and candles… Very bling!
Why did you pick your venue?
Craig was my first boyfriend when I was 13 – we were in Sea Cadets and went away on our first trip with them. We were picked up just behind the venue 18 years ago!
Why did you choose to book a caricaturist?
I wanted something a little different than the average entertainment.
What did David bring to your day?
He brought that something different that I was looking for – there was literally a queue waiting to see him!
What did you think of the service provided by Warble?
First class service!
Looking back is there anything you would change?
I would have changed my hairdresser – it’s the only thing I didn’t do my research on and I was pushed into the decision. With 8 bridesmaids and a bride she was overwhelmed and resulted in being 45 minutes late.
Best piece of advice for other couples planning their wedding?
Research your suppliers and look for amazing feedback – don’t be scared to ask lots of questions and if something doesn’t feel right stick with your instincts. ALSO – take ten minutes out on your wedding day maybe just after your meal to absorb it all as the day goes so fast and you don’t want to miss it.
