How long does it take Club Sax to setup?
Anywhere between 15-30 minutes depending on venue access and if providing a PA for the performance.
Does Club Sax provide a PA for the performance?
Yes, Club Sax provides a small PA for his Solo Sax performances for his wireless mic and backing tracks. For performances alongside a DJ typically he would plug his wireless mic into the DJ's mixer but if this isn't possible he can supply a small PA for this also.
Our venue requires insurance and PAT certificates do you have these?
Yes, copies of the relevant certificates can be emailed over to you or forwarded directly to the venue/event organiser.
Can I book you to play my Ceremony and later on in the evening to play with my DJ?
Yes, Club Sax can perform for one moment during your wedding or a combintation of performances throughout the day/evening including: wedding ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, first dance and evening party with DJ.
Do you take song requests?
Yes, song requests are no problem, whether this is for an extra special moment such as your bridal entrance/first dance or to make for a big entrance at a corporate event or perhaps you have a list of requests for the eveing party sets. Club Sax can also provide song lists relevant to your enquiry for consideration.
We've been to Ibiza and seen a girl playing Sax to house music, is this something you can do?
Apart from the girl bit... yes this is something that is often asked and that clients are looking to bring to their event. Club Sax specialises in this type of performance and can provide Ocean Club style Ibiza Chillout sets along with high impacting and engaging LED Club Sax sets on the dance floor.
How do the club sets work with our DJ?
Either Club Sax can provide a premixed backing for the DJ to play on the night or he can work with the DJ on the night with no real brief required. His experience in working in clubs and with DJ's is vast and is used to freestyling in this way much like he would do on a club night or festival. Alternatively Club Sax can easily liase with your booked DJ beforehand to discuss the musical brief you have given as to where best fit in his performance during the evening and accomodate any requests you may have.
We want something to get people on the dancefloor, do you do that?
Club Sax perfromances are highly engaging and focused on interacting with audiences and getting people on the dancefloor having a good time.
I like your Co2 Sax but I'm not sure if it's suitable for my event, is it safe?
The Co2 Sax performance isn't for everyone, it's very full on in delievering dry ice blasts to the dance floor. It's not suitable for every event but has been used, aside from the clubs, at corporate events, weddings and even barmitsvahs to great success in the past, it really depends on your preference and the nature of your event. In these cases it's usually as an extra touch for events in the later parts of the evening. Club Sax has insurance that covers the use of this and is performed in an experienced and safe manner, it is non destructive to venues and doesn't set off fire alarms.
What styles of music do you play?
Club Sax can play a whole range of styles of music, from Classical to Jazz, Pop, Current, General Party Music, Soul, Motown, Bollywood, Ibiza Chillout, House, RnB, Commercial, Klezmar, Latin and Blues. The list of styles of music goes on as the Sax is very flexible in lending itself well to a broad range of styles of music. Club Sax can provide song lists and can also perform specially themed sets such as Christmas, 007 and Great Gatsby.
The colour theme of our event is X, can your LED Sax match this to fit in with this?
Yes performances can either be on a black or white LED Sax with LED visuals set to display a certain colour scheme to match the nature and theme of your event.
