I chose Disco Wonderland as they looked great in the sample playlist on the website, but actually in real life they were even ten times better than this! Imagine the ideal disco band - a full-on show, the best tunes, fancy dress, sexiness, great lighting, audience involvement, and vocals to die for - this is it! They had people up dancing at my wedding who had not danced in 20 years! One of my best friends put it eloquently; 'I don't know what you paid for this band,' he said, 'but they are worth every penny'.

What musicians are in Disco Wonderband?

We have a 9 piece or 11 piece band, depending on your budget made up of the following musicians:

How long do you need to set up?
Disco Wonderband needs about 2 hours to set up, conduct a full sound check ready for our performance and ensure the best sound for the venue. We normally arrive at 5pm, to be ready for 7pm guest arrival. If you would like us to arrive earlier, we do offer an Early Set Up Service, charged hourly to cover our time. Please ask us for details.

How much space do you require for your performance?
We require a space measuring 25ft wide by 20ft deep. We prefer to play on a stage, but are also comfortable on the dancefloor

Do you provide a PA and Lightshow?
Yes - we provide a full suitable PA and sound technician which is included in the price of the band. We can also bring our state-of-the-art lightshow to any event. This includes a full range of coloured par-can spotlights, star cloth, lasers, mirror balls and many effects to suit a proper disco environment

How about a DJ service
Yes - we can DJ in between the live band sets - we have a huge choice of tracks and welcome requests from your guests!

How long is your show?
Our live set lasts 2 hours, and we normally split that into 2 x 1 hour sets, or 3 x 40 minute sets

How far do you travel?
We travel across the whole of the UK and Europe performing at Weddings, Corporate Events and other Private Functions.

Can we see you play live anywhere before we book you?
Most of Disco Wonderband's performances are at Weddings, Events or Private Functions, however we do occasionally perform at Wedding Exhibitions, or public events across the UK. Please get in touch and we can let you know if there are any opportunities to see us performing live near to your venue.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance and is your equipment PAT tested?
Absolutely! We have full public liability insurance to £5 million, as we are Members of The Musicians Union. This is actually a requirement for many of the Wedding & Corporate Event venues we perform at. All of our equipment is also tested annually for electrical safety also a requirement for many venues.
