Steve was perfect: a brilliant performer, total professional, and a lovely guy. He expertly arranged and learned some new pieces for us, played everything to the highest standard, and generally went the extra mile to help make our day special. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

I booked Steve for my daughters wedding yesterday and confess it was the Madness bit that attracted me. He was so adaptable as things changed a few days before the wedding and timings changed. Steve was fantastic, very professional in approach and appearance but so helpful and accommodating. Music was superb and everybody loved it. The highlight for us, as huge madness fans was that Steve, us having told him so, finished with a madness number. Steve was amazing! He really set the atmosphere for our wedding during our canape and drinks reception. He is incredibly talented and played lots of great tunes. We booked Steve for a surprise 70th birthday party for our mum. He was a fabulous addition to the party - very friendly and great with the kids. Everyone loved his music and though he was great! We would definitely recommend him! Another plus is he doesn't take up much room if you're limited on space. Top marks for Steve!

We can honestly say that Steve was absolutely fantastic and he added that finishing touch to our special day. Steve was prompt and accommodated our every need. As for the performances, Myself and my bride only managed to catch a small portion of the songs he performed due to being otherwise occupied, however, if I had a pound for every guest who has mentioned how amazing the Sax player was and how much of a nice guy he was, the wedding would've been a whole lot cheaper. To summarise.... I really couldn't recommend Steve James highly enough, if you are looking for a really nice guy, an amazing Saxophone player and that final touch to make your day extra special, then Steve James is definitely the act you should book.
