How long will you play for?
As long as you want! A typical performance usually consists of 2 x one-hour sets, with a 15 minute interval included, and the band find this to be the best option for most events. However, both of these can be altered to suit your requirements. Additional costs will be incurred should you require a performance longer than 2 hours.
How much do you charge?
All of the bands prices are fully negotiable depending on your specific requirements, eg: how long you'd like the band to play for, the nature of your event, set-up & finish times, and how far the band are to travel from Southampton. The Beez are incredibly flexible and will give you the absolute best for your budget; simply get in touch for a quote.
When do you arrive to set up?
Again, The Beez are fully flexible, as they are able to attend the venue in advance of the event itself in order to set-up their equipment (some AM set-up times will incur an additional charge). The bands' standard set-up time is 6pm, but aim to work around your event and fit in with proceedings as best as possible. The Beez require a minimum of 60 minutes to set-up their equipment and an additional 10 minutes to sound check, and will therefore need access to the venue at least 70 minutes prior the scheduled performance time. The band will also require an additional 60 minutes in order to dismantle their equipment after the event has finished.
Does the band provide music between and before sets?
They certainly do! The Beez can provide music via their Laptop DJ Service throughout the course of the event if required. Alternatively, you can connect your own iPod to the band PA system if you'd prefer your own choice of music. Should you wish for the band to provide a playlist, they always encourage clients to inform them of any songs they would like included... just to make the event that much more personal, as well as welcoming requests on the night itself! Their vast music database means they can play almost anything!
How far will you travel?
The Beez are packed and ready to travel country wide and abroad.
Do you provide all your own equipment and lighting?
Yes, and it's all PAT-tested. The Beez are completely self-contained so you do not need to worry about a thing!
Are you insured?
Absolutely! The Beez are fully covered with Public Liability Insurance, and all certificates are available upon request.
Do you require a stage?
The Beez can perform with or without staging, indoors or outdoors. However, a performance area of at least 5m x 3m will be required, with 3-4 power sockets made available, or an adequate power generator.
Do you take requests?
The Beez love to make your event that extra bit special, so should you wish for the band to perform a particular song that is outside of their current repertoire... simply let the band know in advance.
