How long will The Magmas perform for?
As standard, the band perform either 2x60 or 3x40 minute sets, depending on your event requirements.
Can the band stay for longer?
Yes - the option to include a 1am late finish is available.
Do the band provide their own equipment?
The band will arrive at your event complete with a PA system and lighting equipment - all included in their standard fee.
Will the band provide a DJ service?
Yes! The Magmas provide a playlist DJ service included in their standard fee, which means music is covered all night even whilst the band take a break between sets. These are tried and tested playlists the band use to keep the atmosphere high whilst the band aren't on stage. You are more than welcome to request songs prior to your event and they will endeavour to include these for you.
There's even the option to upgrade to a full, pro DJ service!
Will the band learn our first dance song?
Absolutely! Wherever possible, The Magmas will learn and perform a song request for your first dance, plus an additional request free of charge.
Do the band offer any optional extras?
Yes - there's the option to add guitar or keys to the line-up, as well as a fantastic female vocalist, and The Magmas can also provide a 30 minute jazz / live lounge performance that would be perfect for drinks receptions and daytime events.
How long do the band need to set up their equipment?
The band will need approximately 90 minutes to set up and sound check once they have arrived at the venue (depending on access to the performance area), followed by an additional 15 minutes to get changed before taking to the stage!
