Andre is a virtuoso Jazz pianist of the highest calibre. He can play solo or can be can be accompanied by double bass, guitar, sax, trumpet, female vocals or drums (or any combination of these musicians).
Andre is one of the most in demand and respected jazz pianists from the Manchester music scene and has been playing with top musicians from the region for the last 20 years. Andre has accompanied some well know names in Jazz such as Wynton Marsalis, Alan Barnes, Dave O’ Higgins, Scott Hamilton, Greg Abate, to name a few. He also once played with Peter Kay who decided to get up and do an impromptu song with Andre’s band at an event!
Andre can play background jazz which will give a touch of class to any event. His larger combinations can be suitable for the end of an event and adding vocals can give the band a completely different feel. He is suitable for wedding ceremonies and afternoon drinks (and can play outside if required with a digital piano), corporate events and parties. Andre is happy to play an in tune piano at the venue, or supply his own digital piano.
