Countdown Jazz is a 1920's jazz ensemble perfect for vintage themed events.

Whether you're styling your event with a Great Gatsby, 1920s Prohibition or speakeasy theme, this band provide the perfect entertainment to give your event a touch of class. The band's repertoire list includes authentic music from the flapper era with well-known classics such as Puttin' on the Ritz, Happy Feet and Ain't Misbehavin'.

They can also perform songs from classic Hollywood movies of the 1950s made famous by Marylin Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Doris Day, such as Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend, Moon River and I Wanna Be Loved By You; and popular jazz standards made famous by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra - with songs including Cheek to Cheek, Night and Day and Dream a Little Dream of Me.

The band's performance is perfect for background music, but if you'd like to dance then speak to your agent about adding a drummer. The standard line-up is a quintet of female vocals, piano, upright bass, trumpet and clarinet - drums can be added for larger events.
