North By South East performed during our wedding ceremony and in the afternoon outdoor reception. We had so many lovely comments from both our guests and other wedding suppliers about how great they sounded. Some of the guests were even up dancing on the grass in the afternoon! Communication in the run up to the wedding was also great, as well as how professional they were on the day. We would definitely recommend them!

These guys are amazing! We booked them for a family celebration, a tough gig as many travelled internationally to be there and were catching up with one and other. North By South East struck the perfect balance between providing a beautiful sound track for the chat to whipping up a joyous packed dance floor. They are extremely talented musicians with wonderfully contrasting but harmonic voices, they create a sound fuller than you might think possible of a couple plus they are fantastic performers too. They read the room perfectly, breezily bring energy and make you want to dance! Everyone had a great time and I would highly recommend anyone book them for anything now before they get too big for your budget!!

These guys were fab for our Mum's 70th birthday, and such lovely people too! 100% recommend! I'm still hoarse from 'helping them out' ie singing my heart out on the dance floor! Special comment from your number one fan, my 6 year old daughter: "I loved them so so much! They did songs that I heard before and some that I didn't hear before. The lady singer is the best at singing and she had a really nice dress! And I danced like this" - proceeds to show me a long dance routine

They played at our wedding, 2 live sets and a DJ set and the dance floor was always busy! the music was upbeat and all the kids were dancing too!! who knew the 17yr olds knew the words to 90s classics! Amazing rendition of my fav "Where is my mind" Pixies among lots and lots of hits! They are both really professional and reliable and have already been requested by one of our guests to play at another event! Fantastic duo, thank you both, you made our night!!! Sinead and Fin x

They were so easy going with the process and advised us on the set up of our outside DIY ceremony which really helped. Can't recommend them enough. North By South East provided the soundtrack to mine and my now wife's special day, In the build up they kept in contact and made sure they understood what we liked and what we didn't like, and trust me when I say they brought the party, everyone loved them and I'm pretty sure they will be getting a lot more booking from that day

North By South East are simply amazing!! They helped us celebrate our wedding on Saturday by performing from walking through the church doors right up until late into the evening. We asked them to learn 3 new songs as well for my church entrance, signing the register and first dance, and they were out of this world, adapting all three songs to their own unique style and it was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. All our guests were so impressed and in awe of them both. I could not recommend these guys more if I tried. They were simply perfect!!

We booked North By South East for our wedding, they covered the whole day from ceremony to evening reception and every part was flawless. They learnt our aisle, exit and first dance songs, each they put their own spin on which we loved!! They listened to our preferences and over delivered! I would recommend North By South East over and over again. I have booked them several times now and they are the nicest and down-to-earth people. Their beautiful voices complement each other so well and they can do all different genres of music. For my Mum's party they got everyone dancing and engaged with the guests which makes the atmosphere even better. I will continue booking them for work and personal events. Wow - we just wanted to say how amazing North By South East were at our wedding at The George in Rye. They are not only an incredibly talented couple they are also genuinely so warm and friendly and made it so easy when discussing music and the style we wanted for the evening. We let them do their thing, reading the room and adapting their sets to suit our guests. They helped us coordinate a fantastic confetti toss at the end of our first dance, and their performance of 'Daddy's Little Girl' for our father-daughter dance brought my wife to tears! I could only be trusted with the music (I say trusted... what I really mean is that I was told I had to organise at least one thing) - and boy did it pay off with North By South East! Not only are they two of the most talented artists and musicians I've watched live, they were super supportive and lovely throughout the whole process, from the initial booking and even afterwards! Booked for husband's 50th party in the garden, amazing night from a talented duo, friendly easy going vibe, arrived on time, quick set up and amazing voices, great selection of songs and everyone was up having a dance, neighbours posted on the local Facebook page they could hear great music and were dancing in their gardens..lots of lovely comments from friends and family as well, highly recommend and look forward to seeing and hearing them sing again

We had the amazing North by South East play at our wedding and we couldn't recommend them enough. They were friendly and approachable from our first communication with them right through till the wedding day. After having to reschedule our wedding twice, they never made us feel like it was an issue. They were happy to learn our first dance song which was just so special. We love it more than the original now. They were able to change the music style and songs to suit the various points in the day perfectly. So many of the guests now want to book them for their upcoming events - I couldn't recommend them enough. We booked North by South East for our wedding at the Old Bridge. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish, they played a range of acoustic relaxed vibes for the afternoon reception and then livened things up for the evening. They also learned our first dance song (which wasn't easy as it was Bon Jovi!) and we loved their version so much, they brought the perfect rock vibe to the whole evening! We didn't want a full 5 piece band (and would have struggled for space for that), so opted for a duo but at no point did this compromise on the sound or the liveliness, they are experts at mixing sounds and have the perfect blend of voices! Beautiful singers and Charlie is awesome on the guitar, huge repertoire and we were amazed by their ability to take requests and play almost anything. Our guests have all commented on how good they were, thank you for making our day so special!

I want to say thank you to you both so very much for your warmth, friendliness and professionalism - especially your flexibility! Your positive approach to my request to move down into the cellar bar at zero notice was a huge contribution to the success of the night. Thank you again. And that is before we even mention your musicianship! You both have such great voices and Charlie, your ability on the guitar was the point of many discussions.
