The Lightmen

The Lightmen were absolutely spectacular. Both of us, and our guests, had such a fantastic time. The music was great, the DJ sets were great but their performance and getting everyone up to dance was absolutely incredible. We added a couple of requests for our first dance and a little shout out for a special song in particular and they were both dealt with so well. Dan getting some of our guests up for Proud Mary was amazing and he came out to grab them whilst still playing to make sure they enjoyed the song! We cannot recommend them enough and want to find an excuse to book them again!!

The Lightmen were absolutely amazing as our wedding band. After much deliberation we chose them as our band and were not disappointed. They played all the songs we requested and their energy was catching. The communication leading up to our wedding was perfect and we couldn't have asked for any more or less.

We booked The Lightmen for our wedding after MUCH deliberation and looking through many hours of demos. We went with them as they have a massive and varied repertoire and we weren't disappointed! They also learnt our mashup first dance which was superb! Dan the lead singer is amazing and got everyone up dancing and was very interactive. The booking process was very straightforward too - highly recommend!

4 years ago, I saw The Lightmen at a wedding and I knew if I ever got married, that's who I wanted. 1 year ago, I was at another wedding and got to see them again, and they were even better than I remembered. Last week, we got married and had the time of our lives. Great song list to choose from, they learned our father-daughter dance song and they are just all round wonderful guys. I was dancing the night away and even the more reluctant dancers were on their feet. Thank you so much for an unforgettable wedding!

We came across The Lightmen and we couldn't have been happier, they were absolutely amazing!! Such friendly, relaxed, fun guys with such a brilliant selection of music to suit everyone. They got a feel for the style of music to keep people dancing, and even kept people on the dance floor with their playlists between sets. The band learnt our songs for walking down the aisle as well as our first dance which we were so grateful for. We couldn't recommend them enough, such talented musicians who brought a beautiful acoustic set to our ceremony and the party to our evening reception! Thank you so much

We booked The Lightmen for our wedding and they were amazing! They played our song for our first dance and they agreed to learn the song for the father/daughter dance too which we discussed with them prior. They performed three sets and a range of popular songs. They absolutely made the wedding reception and so many of the guests commented on how good they were. We would highly recommend them.

The first thing we did after booking our venue, was book The Lightmen. We knew that on our wedding day, we had to have them! From start to finish the band have been nothing but excellent. Their rendition of our first dance was beautiful, their patience with our drunk bridesmaids was unmatched, and their ability to fill the dance floor is testament of their talent. They really did help to make our day more incredible, nobody wanted the night to end, least of all us! We hope they enjoyed playing for us as much as we enjoyed having them! We wish we had more photos to share, but everyone was having too much of a good time.

I found the band (The Lightmen) we had for our wedding via Facebook so the only things I was going on is the samples from the band and the reviews from previous clients. So I was nervous. This didn't last, the agency liased between me and the band for initial booking. Comms were quick, clear and thorough. Every query I had they responded to even if it was a quick we will get in touch with the band and get back to you. They didn't leave me waiting. And I got this service right throughout the planning period so they looked after me all the way. Can't complain at all, service was impeccable and The Lightmen were absolutely amazing. Again once I was in direct contact with them quick response, great comms and their ability to keep the dance floor full was spot on. Our guests loved them!

The Lightmen were the 1st supplier we booked. We made the right decision. They were ace. Changing lyrics to my name (the bride) singing songs just for us. They had me dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band. Because you and me.... thank you!

Had the band for my wedding day from 5pm until midnight, they were amazing and went down very well, everyone was up dancing and they took plenty of requests. We had the best night when The Lightmen performed at our wedding. After seeing their video online, choosing a band was one of the most easiest decision whilst wedding planning. The band went down a storm and had everyone up on the dance floor all night.

We have recently had the Lightmen play at our wedding and they are exceptional. Every member of the wedding party made a point of telling me how amazing the band were. They learnt our first dance song for us and everytime they played the dance floor was full, at one point I looked and every single person in the room was dancing to the band. Between the sets they did a DJ set for us. The guys were so lovely. If you are planning a party this band is a different must have, they will be playing at the next event I plan. Thank you so much for making my wedding even more exceptional. They really were amazing and even 2 months on everyone is still talking about how amazing they were

They were so accommodating of our requests in the build up to the day, and their performance of our first dance was unbelievable. We are so glad we found them and wish we could watch the performance again and again. We would recommend The Lightmen to anyone who is looking for a band, they will not disappoint. They were excellent! Our speeches and food ran over a little bit so they were late in setting up but endeavoured to do it super quick. The music was amazing, everything we'd hoped for and we have them quite a technical first dance song which they played perfectly. All of our guests really enjoyed them and the music, and the band even entertained some requests.

The Lightmen were absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have asked for better. We were both blown away. They were so helpful with our surprise first dance and song requests. They performed tribute as our requested song and it was the highlight of our night, it was so good. My dad is now trying to find another event to plan so he can book them again! I've had so many people ask who they were and say how good they were. They really made our evening celebrations everything we hoped for. We do have a few pictures but we are waiting on them to be sent from the Photographer so once i have them i'll get them sent over. Out of five we would give a 6. The whole band were so lovely, not only when they were playing but when the fish and chips were served chatting with guest's and us, having a go in the photo booth! Really cannot say enough good things about them, they were everything we could have hoped for and more!

5 out of 5 We were both so pleased we chose The Lightmen for our band at our wedding. They were so friendly, accommodating and talented. All contact on the build up to the wedding was via Charles, he was very good at answering any questions I had and getting back to me promptly. The lead singer was very friendly when I went to say hi on our wedding day, he reconfirmed our wishes for the evening and said they were super flexible to our needs. It goes without saying how talented the trio are, they learnt 2 songs specially for us which was so kind. One of which is our 2 year old Nephew's favourite, it made his day. They really knew how to work the crowd and knew when was the right time to play different types of songs. The DJ set at the end of the evening was also everything we asked for in the way of cheese! We would definitely recommend The Lightmen. Everyone from all ages loved them.

The Lightmen were amazing! 5 Stars from me, they brought the noise & we danced away! We had an epic party & they headlined it! All the guests we spoke to commented on how brilliant the bad were! The rest of us were on the dance floor giving it the big one cause of the music to dance to!! The contact from the Lightmen was great & the information I provided them meant they arrived & set up without myself & the guests even knowing. They sorted themselves & looked the part from the start. They were incredibly professional. The whole process was easy & the outcome was brilliant!

I give the band a 5 star rating. The band were fantastic. Communication was excellent and I could not have had a better band they were amazing. I would recommend the band in a heartbeat.

The Lightmen were the perfect band for our Wedding Day. We knew from watching a few of their videos that they were the band that we wanted but in person they were even better. They were such party starters and made our night. 5 out of 5, 10/10, amazing!

The Lightmen delivered exactly what we were looking for and loads more. Their communication pre event was faultless, their flexibility around our choice of first dance was excellent and they kept people excited and on the dance floor all night. The only down side was that they had to stop...our guests would have been happy if they had carried on until the early hours. We could not recommend them highly enough!

From start to finish the communication with The Lightmen was amazing. Booking the band was really easy, they communicated with us at every step and asked any questions or queries we had. On the night of the wedding the band were fantastic, all are guests commented on how great they were- they had all ages from 2 to 70 up dancing with such a great choice of songs- my husband and I really loved the way they played our first dance song!! We couldn't have asked for a better service and band :)

From the off The Lightmen were absolutely perfect. The band contacted us well in advance of the wedding and were extremely friendly, helpful and open. All communication was hassle-free and they were always willing to offer their professional advice on any queries we had. We hired them for an acoustic set, which was amazing, followed by a full 2 hour set from the 3 piece band. All the guests commented on just how talented they were and I can honestly say I've never seen a dance floor so full for so long - they kept it packed and booming well into the early hours! As well as taking extra care with our own personal requests the band also used their artistic licence and payed some fabulous mash-ups which were a definitely a crowd pleaser. Overall they are a fantastically talented and extremely professional band who were fully flexible to the timings of the day (and we all know how weddings can overrun!). I'd have absolutely no reservations about recommending them or booking them again for a future function.

We were so happy we chose The Lightmen for our wedding. They absolutely made the evening party by planning an excellent set which had all of our guests, from 5 year olds to 75 year olds, dancing all night. The energy and enthusiasm The Lightmen put into their performance was incredible - we don't think their promo video does them justice! Many of our guests commented on how much they loved the band. Communication before the wedding was clear and easy and the guys were able to work to our venue's requirements. We highly recommend them!
