The Penny Kings

We booked The Penny Kings through Warble for our wedding, and couldn't have been happier. The process of finding and booking the band was super smooth. The website and communication with Warble was really straight forward and provided everything we needed to know ahead of the day. The Penny Kings themselves were incredible. The vibe they bought was second to none and they had everyone right up on the dancefloor, playing banger after banger. They were flexible with the set times and were happy to do what we requested without any need to change. It was all pre-agreed in the run-up and went ahead smoothly. They weren't a classic 'cheesy wedding band' but instead played a range of music, each song played brilliantly and with an edge. Guests who we assumed would be sat around the edges were always on their feet. Everyone raved about how fun the band were. We opted for the Saxaphone player to be included and we were so happy with the choice. It adds an extra flare which was wicked.

Our experience with Warble couldn't have been better from start to finish. The team were so helpful and communication was amazing. The band themselves (The Penny Kings) were absolutely fantastic and had the dance floor packed all night. Couldn't recommend Warble or The Penny Kings enough.

We had The Penny Kings play at our wedding last week - they were brilliant on every level. Our guests were up and dancing for every set and the band brought a fantastic energy to the evening. Communication was brilliant and they were very accommodating regarding set changes and learning a song for our first dance. We would highly recommend them!

The band (The Penny Kings) were in contact with us regularly and learnt our first face dance song for us! They updated us of all the plans along the way and always replied quickly when we messaged them. The band arrived with plenty of time to set up and all looked really smart! They were lovely to us and all our guests! The music was amazing! All our guests commented on how good the band were and we felt they were worth every penny!

We booked The Penny Kings for our wedding and the whole experience was great - the booking process was easy, Warble responded to any questions swiftly and the band were fantastic! The band were very accommodating, learning not just our first dance song (and adjusting lyrics), but another one of our favourites too! The venue commented how great the band were and what a delight they were to deal with. They were also a big hit with all our guests. Would highly recommend to anyone considering booking!

I just wanted to email to say thank you so much to The Penny Kings for performing at our wedding a few weeks ago! They were honestly amazing, we had such a good time and everyone kept saying how great they were! We absolutely loved their rendition of our first dance song also.

The Penny Kings were exceptional & really made our evening do a special time. Their communication beforehand was brilliant, answering all of our questions promptly. They were very understanding re having to move dates due to the pandemic & our first dance song was sung perfectly. Their attire was our choice so they fit into our Rustic/Country feel & they arrived on time & set up quickly & quietly. We would definitely have for another function.

The band were fantastic and provided amazing vocals that truly made our night. Their song list was vast and catered for everyone at the wedding. Special mention to the sax player who performed a couple of solo sets for us, he really was fantastic. Have and would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a wedding band.

I had The Penny Kings play at my wedding not only are they a very talented group of musicians, they are also such lovely guys ! Everyone absolutely loved them, they even got my mum up on her feet and she never dances! Would highly recommend them for a wedding or special event! We would give the band a solid 5 out of 5. The Penny Kings were fantastic - really accommodating and flexible in terms of start time and the fact that we had a small venue. They kindly allowed us to use their microphone for speeches and were happy to tweak their set list at our request and learn our first song at quite short notice. They were friendly and energetic and got the dance floor moving! Our guests loved them and so did we! So professional yet easy-going and amazing music!

Thank you so much for such an incredible evening! You managed to create an amazing atmosphere which was so special especially considering we couldn't quite picture how the day would turn out with restrictions etc. It was a honestly a brilliant evening and the perfect way to end our day! The venue also said you were amazing and such lovely guys to work with... We had so so many compliments about you all and lots of our friends have asked about how they contact you for their own weddings. Thankyou again, we couldn't have asked for a better band!

I planned a festival-themed party for my 30th birthday party, and these guys were sooooo perfect! They had the full on festival style look and it was so much fun. I really hope they enjoyed themselves as much as I did, and my friends. All the best! I'll be in touch for my 40th haha!

The booking team were easy to contact and really helpful, they helped recommend the band after talking to us about what we were planning. The band themselves were great! They arrived on-time, got themselves set-up without disturbing our guests, and played an awesome two sets. The guys were all really friendly and did their best to talk to the crowd and keep them on their feet, after playing mine and Sarah's first dance perfectly. Everyone complimented us on their performance and a few even asked where we got them from, so look out for a few more requests!

The Penny Kings were the highlight of our day! Besides getting married of course haha! We really had the best time dancing with all our friends and family - they played such awesome songs and we know our evening wouldn't have been the same without them. I was blown away by The Penny Kings. I had no idea how much of an impact they would make to our evening. It was such a fabulous atmosphere. I didn't even hear them setting up and it all ran so smoothly, considering we were running a little behind scheduled (sorry!). They played all the songs we requested and put together the perfect playlist for our night - everyone was dancing! We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more.
