This 5-piece pop, rock and indie band have been performing together for over 9 years with their expert line-up of male lead vocals, two guitars, bass and drums, perfecting their killer setlist and wowing crowds across the UK at countless events.

The River Dogs allow you to tailor their entertainment package to suit your entire day with their afternoon acoustic performance options, and additional evening sets to keep your dance floor full for even longer.

The band will provide a PA system, lighting equipment, and a playlist DJ service between their live sets, with the option to extend the DJ curfew until 1am if you'd like. This can even be upgraded to a manned DJ service, which would enable you and your guests to make requests on the night!

What can we say......The River Dogs, you absolutely smashed it out of the park on Saturday night. From the very first song, the dance floor was full and remained that way until the very end, something which has never happened before. We have been overwhelmed with positive feedback about the night and how good you guys were. The River Dogs were an amazing band. The band contacted me before the wedding to confirm all the arrangements and to discuss song choices. I really appreciated this. The band were so friendly and arrived at the venue early .Their style of music was right up our street and they had everyone up and dancing for their entire sets. Many of our guests have commented how much they enjoyed the band. We would definitely recommend them to other bride and grooms and for parties. They made our wedding reception a night we'll never forget!

How lucky were we to manage to land such a great band for our marquee wedding! Everything from the lead up, the planning and the actual day was great. Dan was so helpful going through logistics, timings and the set list (we had a right mix of requests from our guests which the band all accommodated brilliantly either in their sets or in the DJ section). The set up on the day was so subtle we hardly noticed them during the wedding breakfast. They were great having our first dance played then seamlessly started their first set and man did it just get better! The dance floor was packed for the whole night with everyone having a great time. I think every single guest we had commented on how great the band were. I can't recommend this band more highly, if you get the opportunity to have them play at your event just book them! Thank you so much for making our day so much fun.

From the day we started planning our wedding, music was always going to be a huge thing and we were totally set on having a band. We looked and saw The River Dogs. The type of music they played was right up our street so we booked them straight away. It was great to speak to a member of the band before the big day so that we could make specific requests for certain songs. They created a perfect set list based on our requests and it was perfect. So many people came up to us after the gig on the day and said how great they were. They really made the night and their performance was perfect. The fact they were a great bunch of lads who were a pleasure to have at our wedding was the added bonus. Would recommend to anyone!

    FAQs

    How long will The River Dogs perform for?
    As standard, the band perform either 2x60 or 3x40 minute sets, depending on your event requirements.

    Can the band play for longer?
    Yes - the option to include an extra 45 minute band set and a 1am late finish for the playlist DJ service are available.

    Do the band provide their own equipment?
    The band will arrive at your event complete with a PA system and lighting equipment - all included in their standard fee.

    Will the band provide a DJ service?
    Yes! The River Dogs provide a playlist DJ service included in their standard fee, which means music is covered all night even whilst the band take a break between sets. These are tried and tested playlists the band use to keep the atmosphere high whilst the band aren't on stage. You are more than welcome to request songs prior to your event and they will endeavour to include these for you.
    There's even the option to upgrade to a manned DJ service if you'd like to make requests on the night!

    Do the band offer any optional extras?
    Yes - The River Dogs can also provide acoustic performances that would be perfect for drinks receptions and daytime events.

    Can the band arrive earlier?
    The River Dogs are very flexible and are happy to work to the needs of your event and arrive earlier (pre 5pm) for an extra fee.

    How long do the band need to set up their equipment?
    The band will need approximately 60 minutes to set up and sound check once they have arrived at the venue (depending on access to the performance area), followed by an additional 15 minutes to get changed before taking to the stage!

    My venue has a sound limiter - will this be ok?
    The band are very flexible and will do everything they can to work around any sound limitations at your venue. Please let the band know regarding this as soon as possible and they will advise.
