The Shake Up have live experience of touring original projects, Radio 1 sessions and TV appearances. Some artists worked with include Texas, MC Neat, Kelly LeRoc, NayNay, DreadZone, Sweet Female Attitude and Garry Moore.

    FAQs

    How long will The Shake Up perform for?
    As standard, the band perform 2x60 or 3x40 minute sets. Please let us know if other timings would work better for your event.

    Do The Shake Up provide their own equipment?
    The band will arrive at your event complete with lighting equipment and a PA suitable for up to 150 guests - all included in their standard fee.

    Will the band provide a DJ service?
    Yes! The Shake Up provide a playlist DJ service included in their standard fee, which means music is covered all night even whilst they take a break between sets. These are tried and tested playlists the band use to keep the atmosphere high whilst they aren't on stage. There's even the option to upgrade to a bespoke pro DJ package with Full Decks if you'd like to up the feel-good vibes and make requests on the night!

    Will the band learn our first dance song?
    Absolutely! Wherever possible, The Shake Up will learn and perform one song request for your first dance, even if it's not in their repertoire.

    Do the band offer any optional extras?
    Yes - The Shake Up offer the option to add an acoustic duo, perfect for over drinks, dinner or wedding ceremony the option to add sax to the main band lineup, or add a sax and DJ set to bring an Ibiza-style party vibe to your event.

    How long do the band need to set up their equipment?
    The band will need approximately 60-90 minutes to set up and sound check once they have arrived at the venue (depending on access to the performance area), followed by an additional 15 minutes to get changed before taking to the stage!
