About

Recreating the swinging sounds of the classic big band era, The Street Swing Band will enhance any party with slick performances of relaxing ballads, cool bossa novas and up-tempo versions of rat-pack repertoire. This ensemble is perfect for dancing and as an accompaniment to dinner. The band’s smart, stylish appearance makes it very popular amongst corporate and wedding clientele.

The band is extremely flexible and can perform as both background and foreground music. The band can also be hired in different combinations for example, with a vocalist or simply as a duo, for the more intimate occasion. An all-acoustic option is also available. All members are full-time, highly experienced professionals and are the leading players in their field.

The Street Swing Band are happy to perform for 2 x 45 minutes, 3 x 40 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes and as a general indication, the 5 piece band would require 4 x 3 metres of space.

The band is available to perform as pictured, in the standard all black suits & white ties (with optional hats), but also have other outfits available, which include: Dinner Jackets (Black or White Tie), Modern Lounge Suits or Casual. Themed outfits can be catered for on request.

Tracey, I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the way Warble handled the whole booking process which was quick, easy and very professionally-run from the start. The evening was a resounding success and the band gave a superb performance which proved to be the icing on the cake for my Wife's 50th birthday celebrations which spread over the weekend.     How much does the band cost?
    Prices shown are based on our 3 piece line up. The fee depends on the line up you hire, the length of the performance and the location of the event. Please contact Warble Entertainment for an accurate quote. Prices based on our standard 4 piece line up.

    How long does it take for the band to set up?
    30 minutes.

    How long does the band perform for?
    Usually our standard sets are 2 x 45 minutes, however we can perform 3 x 40 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes.

    Will the band play requests?
    Yes, we will play requests if they are made 4 weeks before the event or at the time of booking (whichever is the longest). Any requests made on the day cannot be guaranteed however if we know it, we will definitely perform if for you!

    Will the band perform outside?
    Yes, provided the weather is satisfactory (as long as it is dry and not too cold).

    What equipment does the band have?
    The band has a drum set an electric piano or guitar and double bass.

    How much space does the band need?
    3m by 5m approximately. The 3-piece requires a 2m x 3m space.Will the band provide music inbetween their sets / during breaks?

    The band can provide you with music during their breaks, though there is an extra charge for this. We can also arrange for music of a similar style to be played and are happy to bring along CD’s for you to use on your own CD player. Please let us know in advance.
