About

This Troubadours features both female and male lead vocals, often harmonising together to create their own beautiful versions of old classics and new songs. Their set can feature songs from The Beatles to Bruno Mars, The Eagles to Ed Sheeran and Frank Sinatra to Fleetwood Mac, all arranged in their relaxed but polished acoustic style.

The Troubadours can create the perfect atmosphere for celebrations, weddings, parties and events. Whether performing as a duo with an arrangement of a special songs for the perfect wedding ceremony, or as an upbeat 4-piece for getting the party started. Described as 'mellow and upbeat in all the right places', their huge repertoire of over 300 songs, expandable line-up from vocals and guitar to full band, and years of experience as gigging musicians makes them incredibly versatile.

The Troubadours sound epic on a big festival stage, but their stripped-back acoustic set-up means the band can perform in smaller spaces, intimate settings and work with sound limiters. Unlike many live bands, the Troubadours can create the party atmosphere without shattering ear drums!

From the moment we saw The Troubadours perform we knew they would be fantastic at our wedding. We chose to have them play during our ceremony and they did not disappoint at all! It made the whole ceremony more personal and was a wonderful touch that we could choose our own music to be played live!

    Can The Troubadours do requests?
    The band prides itself on making the live experience personalised and always include a special request and consultations on the set list.

    How long does the band need to set up and sound-check?
    The duo can get set up within an hour and the band set up will need an hour and a half. Arrival and set up times will be worked out in advance to fit in with the event.

    What equipment/space is required?
    The band is fully self contained, and will bring suitable sound and light equipment for the venue. They require a suitable performance area, which needs to be fully covered if outside, and with access to power points. Their acoustic set up means they can fit into compact spaces, needing from 1.5m x 1.5m as a duo

    Can The Troubadours work with a sound limiter?
    Yes, the acoustic intrumentation allows the group to be very adaptive to sound and noise restrictions.

    Do the band need amplification/electricity?
    Unless playing to only a handful of people, the best live experience will be achieved with the amplification. The Troubadours can provide a busking style set up suitable for performing without electricity if required.

    Does the band offer a DJ service?
    Yes, the band will cover between sets with recorded music, which can be personalised with your own song choices.
