Banquet are a fresh and exciting 5-piece party band whose uplifting renditions of your favourite feel-good tunes will encourage guests of all ages to the dance floor to show off their best moves.

Featuring stunning, dual-lead male and female vocals alongside guitar, keys, bass and drums, Banquet perform nothing but hits from their diverse repertoire of pop, rock, dance, soul and funk songs. With the option to increase the line-up to also include sax and trumpet, Banquet's versatility knows no bounds and their musical prowess will leave you in awe.

If you're looking for daytime entertainment too, Banquet can provide captivating acoustic solo or duo sets - perfect for your drinks reception or afternoon gathering! The band are also more than happy to learn your first dance, so you can make their performance personal to you.

Full PA and lighting will be provided, as well as a playlist DJ service for the times the band aren't on stage. This can be upgraded to a manned DJ service if you'd like to make requests on the night.

Everyone absolutely loved the song choices that they played, as they adapted their set as to what the crowd wanted (oddly it went a little bit indy rock LOL). The weather was absolutely awful that day, so we ended up finishing much earlier than planned, but again the band readjusted their set times and kept those that stayed for the party entertained. The crowd wasn't very big in the end, but we made a LOT of noise to make up for it and danced our socks off! Please thank them for their professionalism, and for accommodating us with our endless changing of songs and timings!

We hired Banquet for our wedding and were delighted with the outcome! Looking for wedding bands can be a daunting process but it was all broken down into bitesize chunks which would make it easy to liaise between the band's team and the venue to overcome any questions etc. On the day itself everything ran smoothly, Banquet were brilliant and a great hit with our guests, they learnt our first dance despite it being a very niche country song and performed it superbly. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

FAQs

How long will Banquet perform for?
As standard, the band perform either 2x60 or 3x40 minute sets, depending on your event requirements.

Can I add band members?
Absolutely - you can add Sax and Trumpet for a spectacular 7-piece band!

Can the band play for longer?
Yes - the option to include an extra 60 minute band set is available.

Do the band provide their own equipment?
The band will arrive at your event complete with a PA system and lighting equipment consisting of 2x LED sound-responsive light bars and 6x LED floor cans - all included in their standard fee.

Will the band provide a DJ service?
Yes! Banquet provide a playlist DJ service included in their standard fee, which means music is covered all night even whilst the band take a break between sets. These are tried and tested playlists the band use to keep the atmosphere high whilst the band aren't on stage. You are more than welcome to request songs prior to your event and they will endeavour to include these for you.
There's even the option to extend this service until 1am, or upgrade to a manned DJ service if you'd like to make requests on the night!

Will the band learn our first dance song?
Absolutely! Wherever possible, Banquet will learn and perform one song request for your first dance, even if it's not in their repertoire.

Do the band offer any optional extras?
Yes - Banquet can also provide an acoustic solo or duo performance that would be perfect for drinks receptions and daytime events!

How long do the band need to set up their equipment?
The band will need approximately 60 minutes to set up and sound check once they have arrived at the venue (depending on access to the performance area), followed by an additional 15 minutes to get changed before taking to the stage!

My venue has a sound limiter - will this be ok?
The band are very flexible and will do everything they can to work around any sound limitations at your venue. Please let the band know regarding this as soon as possible and they will advise.
