Laura absolutely nailed it. Played the most lovely laid back acoustic sets as a back drop to our naming day, took on all the requests from the kids... and ended with a wonderful sing along to 'You Got The Love'. She was also a lovely person with a great vibe. Everyone was asking where we found her! Thank you Laura!

Laura was amazing, her voice is so beautiful. She was happy taking requests, and having a go at songs she doesn’t normally sing and she still made them sound wonderful. Thank you so much Laura for really making our evening.

I can absolutely recommend Laura. Laura played at our wedding in the afternoon and also played our first dance for us. She is fab!

What about DJ requests?
I am happy to take DJ requests, I have a pretty big library of music from the 1940s through to current chart music, so the chances are I'll have most things that get requested already on my system. Because I mix tracks live though, I do have to have songs in my catalogue in advance, I can't just stream them. So, if there are particular songs that you or your guests would love to hear, particularly if you have any special songs that are a little bit obscure, please let me know well in advance so that I can buy them and have them ready for you.
Can you perform outside?
Yes, and I often do! Things to bear in mind... Firstly, I'll still need access to a power socket, unless it's small gathering of 100 people or less where I can perform using a battery amp. Secondly, the venue needs to have a licence for live music outside. And finally, it's best to have some kind of gazebo/shelter to hand in case the weather turns. My equipment cannot be outside in the rain, damp or hot sun.
How long do you need to set up?
It depends which package you've booked. If it's an acoustic set with a basic DJ service, then I like to allow an hour to load in, set up, soundcheck. That gives me a little breathing room if any surprises pop up. For the full DJ Party set up it's best to allow 90mins, more if I need to set up multiple systems in different places (such as outside for the champagne reception and inside for the evening do.)
Do you bring all your own equipment?
Yes, all sound equipment and for DJ Party sets lighting equipment too. The only thing I don't provide is a stage. I generally don't need one. However, if the ground is unstable you may need to provide one.
