Thank you to all of you for a brilliant evening! Absolutely fantastic! Really enjoyed all the tunes - the old favourites and the new grooves. I would thoroughly recommend you guys to anyone. You are a class act! Best of luck for all your gigs!

Britain's got talent! That was one of many positive comments we received about Pop Centric after our wedding on 6 June 2015. It was one hell of a party with this band. They brought an unexpected level of professionalism and quality. Paul the band manager was incredibly accommodating to all of our needs. The band was fantastic! We created a festival and they came to perform as our headliner. Beautiful lead singer Amy stole the show with her looks and amazing voice. Many guests stayed and watched as she helped her colleagues disconnect cables after their performance. I have to thank the whole band for allowing us (bride and groom) and guests (one of which grabbed the mic at one stage) go completely crazy during the party. Their performance of 'Waiting all Night' by Rudimental is fast becoming the theme song of our wedding! I could keep going on for a while, but I think you got the gist: 5 out of 5 for sure.

Pop Centric performed at my significant birthday party and I was delighted with every aspect of their performance. The sound was great, they looked great and everybody was up dancing without any prompting. What was so comforting for me personally was that I felt absolutely at ease with Paul’s professionalism and responsible management of the musical entertainment from the moment we made the booking to the dismantling at the end of the night. I think that when you have so much else to cater for at an event of your own, it is so helpful to have the level of reassurance that was offered and I was always able to get in contact whenever I needed to. This band were fantastic and I recommend them to everyone I meet!
We give you a bespoke price based on the exact location of your event. The pricing below is based on a central location for your area so you have an idea of what your price will be. The exact price will be given in the booking process after you’ve provided the location details.
How long do you play for?
We typically provide 2hrs of live music, split into 2 x 1 hour sets, but other permutations can be arranged.
How much time do you take to set up?
We ideally need 1.5 hours to set up and sound-check. We will need space to work during this time, and it will be necessary for us to make some noise towards the end of this time (usually for the last 20 minutes or so). If the room where we'll be playing is busy before we're scheduled to play (e.g. for dinner & speeches, etc.), we'll be more than happy to arrive early and set-up before that activity begins (additonal fees apply). We'll also need sufficient time to load in our equipment. Especially where access into the venue and/or performance area is difficult (lot of lifts and stairs & long carrying distances, etc.), it's worth factoring this in to the schedule separately.
How much space do you need?
A minimum of 4m x 3m performance area - 5 piece (5m X 3m - 7 piece). Either on a stage or at ground level. We also need access to at least 2 x 240 volt plug sockets.
Do you have all your own equipment?
Yes. The client does not need to provide any equipment for us whatsoever.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes. We are covered for £5 million. A copy of the policy can be provided on request.
What other requirements do you have?
We require a room to change costume and store our belongings if at all possible! Food and drink must be provided unless agreed in advance. Typically a hot meal for evening events, sandwiches etc. for daytime shows and soft drinks throughout (including bottled water during our performance). We need car parking spaces for 2 vehicles (if there is no public parking available), and access to load / unload our equipment beside the venue.
Can I come and see you perform before I make a booking?
We would be delighted for you to come and see us, however the majority of our performances are private (weddings, birthday parties, corporate events) and of course we generally can't offer open invitations to these events. We do play occasional public shows though, usually in London, so please get in touch and find out if there are any scheduled.
What happens if one of the band is unwell?
At Pop Centric we are aware that our performance is an essential part of your evening, and like any professional operation we have a professional replacement member for each band member, in case of illness or any other unfortunate circumstance that night prevent one of us from performing. The show must go on!
How far will you travel?
We are based in London, and we are happy to travel anywhere in the world to play, as long as we can cover the cost and time of the journey.
When will you arrive?
This will depend on the schedule of your event. We need enough time to unload our equipment and park our vehicles, and approximately 2 hours with access to the performance area to set up and soundcheck. So this might mean we can arrive 2 and a half hours before our performance time, or it may be necessary to arrive earlier in order to get access to the performance space at a convenient time for you. We are happy to arrive as early as necessary in order to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Do you play music in the break?
Our bassist Raphael is an experienced party DJ, and can programme an appropriate playlist to suit the mood to play through our sound system before and between sets. You're also welcome to provide your own CDs or playlists. We can also offer the services of a professional DJ who works with us regularly, subject to arrangement / fees. If you've already arranged your own DJ, no problem, we'll happily work together with them to make sure the entertainment runs to perfection.
Can I choose what you play?
We pride ourselves upon seamless transitions between songs, and the set-lists we provide have been structured to maximize the effect of the overall performance. For this reason we recommend you leaving us to what we know best, and letting us suggest an appropriate set list for your particular event, based on the information you've given us. This is not to say that you can’t request favourite songs from our repertoire and remove some that you don’t like. We're also happy to learn a song which isn't in our repertoire, such as a 'first dance' request for a wedding, or a favourite song for the birthday girl/boy or guest of honour. We will need some notice if you require us to learn a new song though, to make sure that we can get it to our usual standard of excellence in time!
