About

This band's heart-pumping, high-energy entertainment, together with their repertoire of the biggest dance floor fillers from across the decades, will guarantee to leave a lasting impression and raise the roof off of any party or event. 

Forming in 2010, the band perform everything from massive club hits to everybody’s favourite sing-along classics, the band comprises of talented musicians of the highest calibre with a wealth of experience including performing at Glastonbury, Edinburgh Festival, DW Stadium, European tours and entertaining the likes of Noel Gallagher and Wayne Rooney. Lead Singer Sandie has performed globally with her striking, powerful, soulful sound and brings her infectious charisma and unfaltering passion to every party.

The band perform at many weddings and have also entertained at venues such as Aintree Race Course, Bridgewater Hall, Anfield, Cafe De Paris. Previous clients include Centrica, Shell UK, Airbus and Oriel Chambers Barristers. Shake It Off! are happy to perform first dance requests but can also learn any first dance requests that are not in their repertoire with prior notice.

There is an option to add Saxophone and/or Trumpet to the line-up or go for a more streamlined 3-piece option.

They are a fully self-contained band, with an EV 2.5kW PA system and lighting rig. They can also provide PAT test certificates and Public Liability documents where required.

When we booked Shake it Off for our wedding we knew we liked them, but we were blown away by their performance on the day,. Many of the guests commented on how great they were and how they wished they could’ve played longer into the night. What was the most special part for us, was that they took the time to learn the song for our first dance, despite it being quite unusual and in a different style to the songs they usually perform - it was flawless, and in our opinion as good (if not better) as the original. In the build up to the wedding, Aaron (Bassist/Manager) was very good at communicating with us and taking onboard requests for our day, their professionalism on the day was great, with them checking sound levels with us before performing. They played a good mix of modern and older music, so that all the guests had something that they felt they could dance to. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough, and were so glad we went to the additional expense of having live music, as it really made the day for us.

    FAQs

    Do you have insurance?
    The band hold public liability cover and all electrical equipment is annually P.A.T tested for safety.

    How long does it take to set up?
    We usually require 90 minutes to set up lights, PA and soundcheck ahead of the performance.

    Can I pick my own set?
    We don't offer this but you can select a number of tracks and we'll form a set list tailored for you. This helps us to keep the dance floor full and able to react to what is working on the night, giving you a dynamic and effective performance.
