Meet The Afterlight - a stylish 4-piece pop, soul and Motown band, ready to take your celebration by storm!

Featuring outstanding female vocals backed by guitar, bass and drums, and with the use of professional backing tracks, this Bristol-based wedding band have all the ingredients to create the perfect soundtrack for your event. With a carefully curated setlist, comprising the most popular dance floor fillers, you can be sure that The Afterlight will create an atmosphere that your guests will be raving about. Whether you love a bit of classic soul from the likes of Chaka Khan and Luther Vandross, or modern disco and pop from Bruno Mars and Dua Lipa (or a bit of both!), The Afterlight have got you covered.

This tight-knit group are no strangers to working the room. After forming as a band in 2022, The Afterlight have performed at countless weddings, corporate events and parties. Members have taken the stage at world-renowned festivals such as Glastonbury and Zwarte Cross, and have performed alongside well-known artists including Tom Grennan, Bad Sounds and Richard Ashcroft.

The Afterlight are fully self-contained, providing everything they need to make your evening party a standout success. As standard, they provide PA and lighting, as well as a playlist DJ service to cover the music between sets. This can be upgraded to a manned DJ service if you'd like to make requests on the night. That's not all, The Afterlight will learn and perform a special request, making their performance personal to you.

If you're looking for a little something extra, The Afterlight offer an acoustic duo set, the perfect choice to get your guests into the party spirit during your drinks reception. If you can't get enough, you can even add an extra 30-minute evening set and hear more of the tunes you love.

FAQs

How long will The Afterlight perform for?
As standard, the band perform 2x60 or 3x40 minute sets. Please let us know if other timings would work better for your event.

Do the band provide their own equipment?
The band will arrive at your event complete with a PA system and lighting equipment - all included in their standard fee.

Will the band provide a DJ service?
Yes! The Afterlight provide a playlist DJ service included in their standard fee, which means music is covered all night even whilst they take a break between sets. These are tried and tested playlists the band use to keep the atmosphere high whilst they aren't on stage. There's even the option to upgrade to a manned DJ service if you'd like to make requests on the night!

Will the band learn our first dance song?
Absolutely! Wherever possible, The Afterlight will learn and perform one song request for your first dance, even if it's not in their repertoire.

Do The Afterlight offer any optional extras?
Yes - The Afterlight offer the option to add an acoustic duo set to accompany your daytime festivities and an extra evening set. A manned DJ service and 1am DJ finish is also available.

Can the band arrive earlier?
Absolutely! The Afterhours are very flexible and offer an early arrival for a small additional cost per hour. If you want to keep the party going even longer you can also upgrade to a 1am band finish.

How long do the band need to set up their equipment?
The band will need approximately 90 minutes to set up and sound check once they have arrived at the venue (depending on access to the performance area), followed by an additional 15 minutes to get changed before taking to the stage!
