We knew we wanted live music at our wedding. We booked The Guidefires through Warble because we loved the sound of their own twist on classic, well-known songs. Well... we were blown away by the band! They did an amazing cover of our first dance song; they are such talented musicians. All our guests were on the dancefloor for their whole set, and everyone commented on how brilliant they were. The Guidefires were professional, friendly, and great fun. We would highly recommend including the saxophonist when booking The Guidefires, as he was an incredible musician! Their manager was responsive and helpful in the run-up to our wedding day. We give you a bespoke price based on the exact location of your event. The pricing below is based on a central location for your area so you have an idea of what your price will be. The exact price will be given in the booking process after you’ve provided the location details.
How long will The Guidefires perform for?
As standard, the band perform 2x60 minute sets, depending on your event requirements. They also offer the option to extend to their sets to 3x50 minutes for an additional fee.
Do the band provide their own equipment?
The band will arrive at your event complete with a PA system and lighting equipment - all included in their standard fee.
Will the band provide a DJ service?
Yes! The Guidefires provide a playlist DJ service included in their standard fee, which means music is covered all night even whilst they are taking a break between sets. These are tried and tested playlists the band use to keep the atmosphere high whilst they aren't on stage. There's even the option to upgrade to a manned DJ service if you'd like to make requests on the night!
Will the band learn our first dance song?
Absolutely! Wherever possible, The Guidefires will learn and perform one song request for your first dance, even if it's not in their repertoire.
Do the band offer any optional extras?
Yes - The Guidefires offer an acoustic solo, duo or full band roaming set for the afternoon to boost your daytime festivities, the option to add sax for a fabulous 5-piece and a late finish for the DJ, so you can keep the party rocking into the early hours.
Can the band arrive earlier?
The Guidefires are very flexible and are happy to work to the needs of your event and arrive earlier (pre 5pm) for an extra fee.
How long do the band need to set up their equipment?
The band will need approximately 75 minutes to set up and sound check once they have arrived at the venue (depending on access to the performance area), followed by an additional 15 minutes to get changed before taking to the stage!
My venue has a sound limiter - will this be ok?
The band are very flexible and will do everything they can to work around any sound limitations at your venue. Please let the band know regarding this as soon as possible and they will advise.
