About

The Phonics are an internationally renowned Postmodern Jukebox style jazz and swing band from London. Inspired by the US group Post Modern Jukebox, The Phonics hit the UK in late 2016 with their own unique arrangements of modern pop songs played in a vintage style, and have since become one of the most sought-after bands on the function circuit.

Fronted by vocalists Amanda and Hayley, who captivate their audiences with their engaging and energetic performances, The Phonics are the perfect choice for black tie events, festivals, vintage-themed parties and weddings!

Their 7-piece band will take your event by storm, but The Phonics also offer everything from a 5-9 piece line-up, meaning you can even customise their line-up to suit the size of your event.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say that The Phonics were EPIC at the wedding last weekend. There are no other words to describe them, what a talented bunch! Was the most amazing day and they were a huge part of it. I would not hesitate in booking them again. Amanda was a joy to deal with and I think I’ve found a new best friend for life - she’s amazing! The swing trio were everything I wanted and fitted the theme perfectly. To see them playing as guests enjoyed canapés, champagne and a vintage funfair in the (thank goodness) August sunshine, made the wedding what is was.

    FAQs

    Does the fee include sound and lighting?
    We can provide PA / sound / lighting for our events depending on the size. For all major corporate events and festivals we work with the AV team booked.

    What do I get for the guide prices listed?
    Prices listed are for our 7-piece band. Any event which finishes at midnight and is located more than 2 hours drive away from North London, we will require overnight accomodation.

    Can you offer a DJ service and provide music for the entire evening?
    We provide a playlist left to run between live sets, and can provide a full, pro DJ service for an additional fee. Often we are booked to play the early evening set which finishes around 10.30pm followed by our DJ till the early hours.
