FAQs

How long will it take for the band to set up?
Usually about 60 minutes to load in, set up and sound check. Sometimes a little longer if there is a noise limiter in place to ensure that no limits are exceeded.

Are you available as a bigger band?
Yes essentially, We are also available as a 2 piece DJ who plays percussion and Lead Female Vocalist but if you would like something a little bigger add, Guitar, LED strings or additional Vocalists. 

What equipment do you provide?
We provide a full PA system, lighting and all musical equipment. All we need are 2 x 13 amp plug sockets.

How much space do you need?
Approximately 2 metres by 3 metres. 

Do you provide any other live music options?
Yes, We are a very versatile and talented band who can offer various different additional live music options including a Solo set by Singer Maria either Pop or Jazz (see Maria Sings profile), an Acoustic Duo Set by Maria and Guitarist Dave (see Bleaker St profile for Duo), Live Sax for drinks reception or and unplugged set or full Live Band set from The Icons.

We have invested heavily in top of the range equipment providing you with the best sound in the business. Their PA covers up to 300 guests. If your event is bigger than this then the band can provide additional PA, Staging, Star Cloths or Lighting for an additional fee. 

What lighting is included?
We provide LED stage lighting, moving heads, chavet freedom sticks and Stage Uplighters. 

My venue has a noise limiter, can the band still play?
Yes, We have played many venues with noise limiters in place comfortably for settings as low as 85/90db. 

Do we need to provide anything for the band?
Free parking for 1 van and 1 car, a clean dry changing room and food or access to the buffet, soft drinks would be appreciated. (1 vegan option) 

Are we able to contact you before the booking?
Yes of course. Once you have made the booking, singer Maria will be in touch approx 3 weeks before the big day. At this point we discuss timings and any questions you may have about the band or your event. We know that planning an event or wedding can be stressful but with an abundance of experience at events and weddings we hope to put your mind at ease so that you can concentrate on having a wonderful time. The band absolutely love their job and look forward to providing you and your guests with a great nights entertainment.
