Dixie Countdown is a jazz trio with a difference!

The band performs traditional jazz and Dixieland music from the 1920s and 1930s, with a set list full of jazz and swing standards loved by audiences of all ages.

The trio of clarinet, upright bass and washboard is completely acoustic - giving the musicians the freedom to wander around your venue, performing wherever you'd like them. This unamplified band is perfect at venues that don't allow amplified music.

The musicians add vocals and harmonies, giving traditional New Orleans music a new lease of life with a quirky performance that your guests will love. They are all trained at top UK music conservatoires.

The sun came out and Dixie Countdown went down very well indeed. The background type music suited the lazy summer afternoon event and was exactly what we wanted. Many guests mentioned how accomplished the musicians were and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get asked for a referral in the future – in which case I’ll forward them on!
