Groove Assailants specialize in funk and soul and are comprised of a friendly group of musicians who have gained many years of professional musical experience. They take huge pride in paying homage to some of the great funk and soul artists throughout history by bringing their music to your stage.

Funk is their thing and that’s what they do, so prepare to groove to the likes of Curtis Mayfield, Tower of Power and KC & The Sunshine Band with a sprinkling of Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder.

Groove Assailants were absolutely fantastic, they made our wedding so special and there wasn't a single person not on the dancelfoor all night! The singers had amazing voices and the sound of the 9 piece band was just amazing, People will be talking about it for years to come! Thank you for making a special day so memorable and fun!

FAQs

Where are you based and where are you willing to travel?
We are London based and available for functions, weddings, parties and events across the country.

What do we need to provide for your performance?
We provide our own sound system, mics, cables and amps, all we need is your stage and a couple of plug sockets.

What line-up options do you have?
Choose between an 8 or 6 piece band and decide on any special requests to suit your event. The 6 piece band is minus female vocals and trumpet.

What attire do you perform in?
Casual, smart or dress to impress, we can accommodate any attire to fit in with you.

What is your performance schedule?
Depending on your event, we play two to four 40 minute sets, each with 20 - 30 minutes break in between.

Do you provide any extras in addition to your performance?
We can organise the music in between our sets and can also offer our own DJ to finish off the night.

Do you have insurance?
We are covered with public liability insurance and if necessary, can provide a risk assessment and an electrical PAT certificate.
