FAQs

Do you travel nationally? 
Yes, we travel all over the UK making our candy creations at weddings, bridal showers, corporate events, themed parties, festivals, fairs, family fun days, conventions, private parties and everything in between. With every quote; an operator, travel, accommodation and all your snacks are included in the fee. 

Can we make a bespoke package? 
Based on customer feedback, we have created a number of options to suit a variety of budgets and requirements. If you don’t see an entertainment package that suits, let us know, we may be able to create one to suit your events needs. Let us know your budget and what type of entertainment you would like us to provide, and we can go from there.

How much room and set-up time do you need? 
We need approximately 4ft x 3ft (1.2m x 0.9m) per candy machine, a set up space on a level surface, with access to a power supply. If you are unsure of your space please contact us and we can discuss the options.

Are your staff trained? 
Yes, all our Baristas are given training before they are released into the wild, and we only release them if we are 100% certain that they can provide the best, most efficient service, with a smile.

What costumes will you wear? 
Our Baristas will dress to fir your event. We aim to deliver a full immersive experience, not just a tasty treat.

What ingredients do you use? 
Candy Floss is simply white, granulated sugar with flavouring and colour added. Our Popcorn is simply corn, Coconut oil and a dash of sugar. If you or your guests have any additive or nut allergies it's always better to check with us before hiring our services. 

What flavour is your popcorn? 
Our popcorn is sweet (sugar) flavour as standard, however on request at the time of booking we can also offer a salted popcorn option. 

What flavour is your Candy Floss? 
We offer a wide selection of colours and flavours of candy floss. Please note our 'alcoholic' flavours contain 0% alcohol, they are purely for entertainment purposes. 

How long do you do your thing for? 
Our standard session lasts for 2 hours, we find this is normally more than adequate. Depending on which package you have ordered, we will need time to set up beforehand and take down afterwards. If you would like us for longer please let us know and we will work out a bespoke cost for you.

What is your power spec and what do we need to provide for you? 
Our candy floss machine runs at 220v - 900w power output, 13 amp. Our popcorn cart runs at 220v - 1370w power output, 13 amp. If you are providing us with a generator, please make sure the generator is of a suitable power spec. i.e. higher than 2KVA and has its own power lead/plug. Alternatively we can be plugged directly into the mains. 

Do you have Food Hygiene Certificates, PAT tested equipment and Risk Assessments? 
Yes we do. We can provide you with Risk Assessments if necessary, and all our electrical equipment is PAT tested regularly. We also hold Food Safety and Hygiene Certificates, and we make sure that these standards are kept whilst working.

Can you still operate in bad weather at outdoor events? 
Wherever possible we need to be placed under cover and this can be discussed upon booking. Candy floss is not much fun in the rain as it melts when there is dampness in the air – it’s also very difficult to make nice big candy flosses in windy weather. If operating outside we strongly recommend you check the weather report and where possible place us under shelter as an extra precaution against summer showers. We can only operate on an even, flat surface. 

Do you have product and public liability insurance? 
Yes we do, we have Public Liability Certificates covering us up to £10,000,000. 

How much does it cost? 
Each machine is individually priced, although we do offer a discount if booking mltiple carts. With every quote; an operator, travel, accommodation and all your snacks are included in the fee.
