How long to the band take to setup before the performance?
Usually the band require 1.5 - 2 hours to setup and sound check.
How long do Resident Grooves perform for?
The evening's live music entertainment will normally comprise of 2 x 1 hour or 3 x 40 minute sets. Different set lengths can be catered for as necessary. We find 2 x 1 hour sets work really well. For corporate events often we're on stage at 10pm and so a straight 90 minute set is exactly what you want to keep everyone on the floor.
Can you DJ?
We supply background music on a pre-mixed playlist. For an additional cost you can book the band with pro DJ. It will cost less than booking an independent one as both the band and DJ can make use of the PA equipment.
Can you learn a song for our party which isn't on your repertoire list?
Yes. We can learn 1 song request for no extra cost, just give us 4 weeks before the date of your event. For example, this may be the 'first dance' at a Wedding or a special song at a party. We are able to learn more songs which aren't on our repertoire list at a small extra cost.
How much space do you require for the band to setup?
6m x 4m is the minimum space we require for the 7 piece.
What kind of PA set up do you provide?
We work with professional sound companies all around the UK to provide the best quality system for your event. We also work with event and staging companies should you wish to book dance floors, stage lighting and uplighting for your room.
