Arabian Nights can perform a range of styles from laidback mood music, perfect for drinks receptions or dinners, to higher energy Eastern/Balkan dance music.
The ensemble perform songs and music from Ottoman and modern Turkey, Middle East, Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Greece, much of the music from previous centuries and some going back to 1400-1800. The duo perform on various combinations of two Uds (Turkish/Arabic lute), Macedonian tambura, violin, gajda (Balkan bagpipes) percussion, and of course the compelling and entrancing voice.
The standard line-up for Arabian Nights is the duo. A percussionist can be added for extra energy.
Arabian Nights always perform in their stylish attire, from eastern-inspired to traditional regional dress depending on the occasion.
The group can provide their own high-quality PA system suitable for medium sized events.
