Jay's style of playing is Easy Listening/Classical/Modern/Jazz/Standards. Jay has over 17 years experience playing for special occasions. If your venue does not have a piano available, Jay can provide a portable digital stage piano at no extra cost. Jay can also provide a white baby grand piano for an additional fee to give your special occasion that extra bit of class.

Live piano at your event can really make the difference for your guests. Music is the most social of all art forms and the versatility of piano music is ideal in bringing people together in celebration. Celebrations can be given a touch of class with the sophisticated sound of ypur favourite song performed live on the piano or music which ties in perfectly with the theme of your party. Jay was just amazing at our wedding. He arrived in good time, set up efficiently and even relocated downstairs after the ceremony to the bar area to play during reception drinks. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money, Jay playing before, during and after our ceremony. The piano music was wonderful, adding a really classy edge to the wedding. Jay played a variety of tunes, something for everyone, and of course, the specific tunes we had chosen for our ceremony. I would not hesitate recommending Jay, he is very professional and accommodating, and even took the time to congratulate us after the ceremony, thank you Jay.

FAQs

Which areas of the UK do you cover?
Jay cover's most areas of the UK. There may be an additional charge for travel costs depending on the location of the venue.

My venue does not have a piano?
No problem. Jay can provide a professional Yamaha P90 stage piano and Yamaha stage pass PA sound system at no extra cost. This requires very little floor space and can be moved from one room to another (or even outdoors) in a matter of minutes and the sound level can be optimised to suit the acoustics of the venue and the occasion.

Do you have public liability insurance and is your electrical equipment PAT tested ?
Yes. Jay has full public liability insurance with £10,000,000 cover. All of Jay's musical equipment is PAT tested. Certificates can be provided to any venue that requires them.

Can you learn a particular song for my event?
Yes. Jay is more than happy to learn any particular song for your event. There is no additional charge for this.

Why should I choose you ?
Jay can only invite you to listen to his audio clips and compare them with other pianists to make your decision. Jay is a grade 8 pianist and has a national diploma in popular music. Jay is also a registered piano tutor for London college of music & ABRSM. Jay's rates are very reasonable and his musical equipment is of the highest standard.

How long do you play for ?
Jay can either play for x1, x2 or x3 60 minute sets. Jay can play for longer set times, but an additional charge will apply.

How long do you take to set up ?
Jay will require 20 minutes to set up all of his equipment. Jay will arrive appox 1 hour before he is due to play, however Jay is flexible and if the venue or client requires Jay to set up earlier, this will not be a problem.
