Most bands will arrive between 5 and 6pm and start their sound check straight away. For the average band this usually takes just over an hour but for larger bands or those with a more complex set-up this can take up to three hours. Our bands are highly skilled at ensuring that the sound check is as unobtrusive as possible and your venue will likely have a few tricks up their sleeve to help ensure there is as little disruption to your proceedings as possible.

If you would prefer, many bands will arrive early for a small fee, so they can set up while your guests are occupied elsewhere.

Most wedding bands offer a full two hours of live music, usually as 2x 60-minute or 3x 40-minute sets. A lot of bands offer additional sets or late finishes if your venue has a later curfew.

As standard, our bands will offer a 'playlist DJ service' between sets, where a playlist of songs is played through the band's sound system. Many bands offer an upgrade to a manned DJ service, with a band member on hand to take requests or play music they know your guests will want to keep dancing to.
