The Generations

Outstanding!! This was our first party since lockdown and everyone was a bit wary of being in a room with so many people. The band were brilliant from booking to the end of the night. They guided us through everything and played a wide variety of songs so had something for everyone to enjoy from aged 8-78!! The band knew how to work the room and had everyone up and dancing in no time. We've had nothing but excellent reviews from our guests, fantastic night had by all, thank you so much for such a memorable evening.

The Generations were amazing. They got people on the dance floor and created a fantastic atmosphere - everyone was dancing! They were also able to accommodate for our style. All together, an amazing band. Thank you!!

The guys were amazing from beginning to end. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone! They tailored their set to our musical taste and even managed to take a request shouted out by our guests. All our guests commented on how great they were. Thank you so much for making our wedding even more special.

The Generations were a fantastic band, their song list fitted perfectly with the various age groups at the wedding dance following the usual traditional celebrations. They arrived on time, were quiet setting up and through sound checks. A tribute to them is the dance floor always had dancers on it! They also allowed Richard (the Groom) and myself (his father) to join them on stage at the start of the 2nd half to play two songs. These were Johnny B Goode and Whiskey in the Jar. It is not easy to have two very amateur musicians join them and play these two songs on stage live without any rehearsal. They backed us very professionally, never missed a beat which was great for us and apparently great for the guests who all really enjoyed it. They are a pleasure to have around - being very professional with their attitude and courteous to both guests and organisers alike. Great stuff, cannot recommend them enough. Well done lads and thank you.

This band was perfect. Perfect for a party. From the moment I made contact with the band they made it clear that the evening was all about the party goers and not the band. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Polite, fun, top musicians who ensured everyone had a ball. Great playlist and sound. They even invited me to sing with them (not such great sound!). Would have no hesitation in recommending or booking Lee and the boys again. I have had so many rave comments since the party.

Amazing! We are so glad we picked The Generations to provide all the music at our wedding in December. All of our guests are still talking about the band and the atmosphere they provided for our celebrations. All I can say is fantastic! A great night was had celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday. The Generations were tremendous. Quality of music was suberb and a number of guests commented on it. Truly memorable in a wet night here in Devon. We didn’t want the night to stop. Thank you.

The Generations were absolutely faultless from start to finish. After getting engaged probably the best decision we ever made was to choose them to lead the celebrations for our wedding. In the weeks prior to the event they got in touch and were incredibly helpful arranging to get set up and work around our schedule on the day. The guys were incredibly friendly and relaxed - and prepared a set list which would cater to the needs of the several generations present. Come kick off (after kindly bailing us out 3/4 through the first dance when the first man entertainingly decided to leave us out on our own) The Generations then played essentially non stop for the rest of the evening and kept the dance floor at full capacity which speaks for itself! They guys were full of energy and many of our guests commented that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard. If you want a quiet evening, the sort that swiftly drifts into obscurity and Horlicks look elsewhere. If you need a band that will get everyone from eight to eighty up and singing to the end of the night, these are your guys. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Could not have been any better. The guys nailed our first dance, allowed us to join the band on stage, played banger after banger and totally made the night what it was. It’s now two days after the day and we still ache from dancing so hard!! Thanks again guys, we’ll be booking you for our anniversary festival for sure! ;)

The Generations are AMAZING. The band helped make our wedding day absolutely fantastic - they were brilliant. Our friends and family said that we had the best wedding band they had ever seen. We were really delighted how it went. In the run up to the wedding the guys were so easy to deal with - they took on board our music choices and played our first dance which was not on their set list. We would 100% recommend The Generations to anyone looking for a great band for their event! Thank you so much guys!

Yet again another fabulous night of music, from the beginning to the end the dance floor was full! You definitely know which are the great songs to get the crowd going. The guys in the band were amazing in accommodating our "secrets", including an acoustic performance, a flash mob and a choir session! The staff definitely look forward to seeing you again at Christmas - thanks guys!

They were amazing and courteous at all times (even when my drunken uncle was dancing so hard he fell on them... TWICE!). It was a wedding of nearly 200 people and they defo kept every single person dancing and entertained throughout all of their sets! Thanks guys! <3

The guys were brilliant, from booking right through to the last song. They allowed us to select the perfect playlist to suit all the generations as well as our individual tastes as a couple. They even went so far as learning our first dance song especially for us which was really beautiful and special, making a great start to the dancing and creating a brilliant atmosphere, encouraging loads of people onto the dance floor. They make a great sound even just as a three piece and the guitar solo during Sweet Child of Mine was masterful! They couldn’t have been more flexible and so easy to deal with. They rocked our wedding and everyone loved all the sets they did, we especially loved the acoustic set they played during the drinks reception which really set our wedding apart and helped set a relaxed and joyful mood. Thank you guys for playing for us and our guests. We’ve had nothing but positive comments from all our friends and family.

The band were incredible! Super professional and lovely guys who played a great range including Iron Maiden!! Matt was also fantastic throughout the booking process.

Absolutely incredible band, we booked The Generations for our wedding and they did not disappoint. The most happy and approachable bunch of lads you will meet. They are easy to chat with, understanding and flexible. Always quick to respond to queries and very friendly. Awesome live music and fantastic sets from the DJ. We loved every minute of the music! Could not recommend these guys enough! Thank you for an epic soundtrack to one hell of a wedding day!

We can not thank or indeed recomend this band enough. They played a fabulous set list across the decades that literally had everyone dancing at one point or another. Completely made the evening topping off a brilliant wedding :)

Lee, Ross and Alan from the Generations were amazing from the word go. We knew from their promotional video that they had some talent, but hearing them on the night blew us away. The guys were brilliant at communicating and kept me in the loop, even supporting a couple of last minute tweaks to our playlist. They were extremely professional, well dressed and had some fantastic lighting too, which added to the ambience of the evening. They also did some audience participation too, which was lots of fun. All of our guests commented on how good they were and we'd definitely look to book them again for future parties. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Also credit to the guys at Warble too who did a great job in answering lots of questions. Definitely made the right choice. Thanks guys A+++ from the new Mr and Mrs Hyde! :)

The guys were brilliant, flexible to every request and gave us the perfect evening entertainment. Everyone was dancing to the end and has raved about them since.

Hi Matt, On behalf of Tanya and myself can I say that The Generations were totally amazing in every way. The music was sensational, the boys could not do enough to make our wedding the best ever. The standard of music was inspirational and we cannot thank them enough. Our recommendation for The Generations is off the scale. We would also like to thank Warble for a first rate service, friendly, informative, helpful and so supportive in helping to arrange our music in France. We will be using both again next year for another event and will be booking very soon. Simply the best and just like our first song... PERFECT!!! x

The Generations were incredible playing at our wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a more fun band that got everyone on their feet and a huge variation of songs. They did our first dance to perfection, despite it not being on their set list. I would recommend them to ANYONE!!!!!

The guys were fantastic. They were quick and efficient with responding to my emails and setting up and packing away. They were lovely, decent people who were so friendly and helpful. We received so many compliments from people about how good they were and people potentially interested in booking them for their own weddings. They got everyone up and dancing and played an awesome set. We had a power cut for about 35 minutes and they did all that they could to help and made sure the crowd's spirit didn't disappear. Thank you all for a fantastic night and hopefully see you at another wedding or gig soon!

The lads were absolutely excellent! Professional, on time, talented and on top of it all, super friendly. These guys are brilliant at getting the crowd going and they make a great sound - with tight ensemble, good tone, showy guitar skills and brilliant vocals. We requested our first dance which was probably not normally in their repertoire and they surprised everyone with a fantastic rendition of our song. Book these guys - they will not disappoint!

The Generations were excellent and I would highly recommend them. They set up quietly, lent us equipment for the speeches and kept the dance floor jumping all night, couldn’t ask for more. We’ve had great positive feedback from our guests also particularly the variety of songs and genres, something for all ages. The booking process was pain free and we were kept up to date leading up to the event.

Lee and the band were incredible - in every respect. Their professional, accomplished and energetic performance added the icing on the cake to our wedding. Numerous guests commented on how great the band were and dance floor was packed for both set lists.
